During service:

At New C we operate in the ‘Spirit of excellence’. We believe in allowing the Holy Spirit to have His way. Scripture says that where the Spirit is there is liberty (2 Corinthians 3 v17)

At New C we know the power of worship and believe that we should all be free to worship our King. No one knows what you have been through in life or where Jesus Christ has brought you from, so there is no limit on how and when you can worship.

The service does have a structure to it to enable people to know what is happening, but at New C we are not held by tradition and things change all the time. Primarily on a Sunday: Sunday School is held 10am – 10.40am
New Converts and or Partnership Class is held 10am- 10.40am Praise and Worship is 11am and continues throughout the service. The word is delivered at 12pm to the end anywhere between 1.00 - 1:30pm.

Come as you are:

A songwriter declared ‘just as I am without one plea’. Jesus doesn’t judge you by the clothes that you wear, but he judges the heart. At New C we adopt that same attitude come as you are. We have a formal and informal dress code, you can wear suits, dresses, jeans, t-shirts, and whatever you feel comfortable in. Just come.

Communion:

Every 1st Sunday of the month we partake in the Communion recognising the death of Jesus Christ and remembering that He did just for us.

Activities:

At New C we consider ourselves as one big family and like to celebrate this, every so often we hold a ‘family and friends day’, which is packed with fun, games and most importantly food!

We arrange church trips out and hold men’s night out, women’s night and also have an opportunity for youth’s to do something.

Sowing seeds:

In New C we believe in sowing into our young people, the bible declares to “train a child in the way that it should grow so that when it grows old it will not depart”.

The youth are the next generation and we not only want them to develop physically but spiritually. The youth have their say in what they desire through the Young Soldiers forum, which will be actively up, and running in the coming months.

New C provides support in helping the youths to follow their dreams and encourage them that they can do all things through Jesus Christ their Lord. New C currently has music programme up and running, which we partly fund, where the youths are professionally taught to play a musical instrument of their desire.
